The Big Picture

This year's Day Camp theme is "The Big Picture". Our goal is to help kids to get excited about reading the Bible and to learn more about God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the role that we have in the big picture of life. Kids will have a blast at Day Camp! We will have a VBS for preschool students, and for students going into 1st - 6th grade.

Kids Ministry INDOOR Campfire

Although rain and fire do not go together, WE won't let the weather DAMPEN our fun!

Due to possible soggy conditions, the kids ministry campfire will go on...inside. I mean, who HASN'T had to deal with a little rain while camping? The event will be from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the Kids Zone. We will still be able to have campfire treats, campfire songs, and the whole campfire experience...minus the fire of course. We hope to see you there!

6 PM- Join us for a delicious pizza dinner for the whole family

 

6:30 PM– Games, crafts, prizes, and treats galore for children in pre-k through 6th grade in the Kids Zone

 

7:30 PM– Trunk or Treat in the Parking Lot

 

Come and join in on the fun. Don’t forget to wear a costume and bring a friend!

Fall Fest

This fall we want to give our students in grades 3-6 an opportunity to go away to our bible camp for an amazing weekend. You can read about the weekend at https://ipoint.org/camps-retreats/fallfest

The dates of the retreat are October 6-8. The price is $110 per student BUT students will save $50 if they register by 9/14. 

One key other key detail is that we are seeking 1-2 parents to attend this event as chaperones and drivers OR for enough parents to take turns driving to and from camp. If you wish to be a chaperone, please contact Mark Johannesen.

This event will depart at 1:30 on 10/6 and will return on 10/8 at 5 PM.

VBS Bonus Day

Come join us for VBS Bonus Day on Friday, August 4th, from 1 PM to 2:30 PM! This event is open to all kindergarten to 6th-grade kids, and they are welcome to bring a friend along. There will be games, snacks, and a Bible lesson, and it's completely free! This is an excellent opportunity for kids to invite their friends to church. This year’s Vacation Bible School, (VBS), theme at True Life Church is “The Big Picture". Throughout the week students will learn about God's big picture, and that He has a unique role for them to play. Throughout the week, we have prepared an exciting lineup of activities that promises fun and meaningful experiences for the kids. Here's a glimpse of what's in store for each day:

All Day Campers and Friends are invited to meet in front of True Life Church at 2 pm. We will walk together to Nachreiner Park (only 3 blocks away) for games and fun. Treats will be served back at the church at 3:30, and the kids can be picked up at 4 pm. For questions, please get in touch with the church office.

Trunk or Treat will happen following the Pumpkin Party from 7:30- 7:45 PM.
